Parents
So my mom has finally gotten a computer, and last night asked for my email address. Which means my mom is now on the interweb. Which, in a lot of ways, makes me happy. I can now email her and, if she’s not to confused by it all, chat with her. This could mean less needing to actually talk to her on the phone, because I’m not really the kind of person that likes talking on the phone with anyone, parents, friends, or whoever.
Unfortunately, I’m worried that at some point my mom might google me, or otherwise find my blog. And that would not necessarily be a good thing. Especially if she goes and reads it. (Googling me does, in fact, bring me up, both my blog and plenty of other places I frequent (or used to) on the interweb… as opposed to a few years ago.)
I’m just hoping if I never mention it she’ll never know. And hopefully she never gets the idea of google… that you could find people that way.
