Is my max weight for one rep on squat. I’m in pain now, my shoulders didn’t appreciate my bench attempt, which sucked because it’s lower than what I did last year for reps, but I’m good with it. Last 1RM I haven’t found yet but it was about 2 years ago and it was a sticking point of like 90… I don’t remember if I did or didn’t make it. I had core issues and my form suffered after 70 pounds (sad weight, I know). I could do reps with 70, but nothing more. I spent some time after that (upon realizing that was the case) building up my core a goodly amount, but hadn’t gotten around to a max attempt till yesterday.

Considering the amount of slacking I’ve done in the last year, and the fact that I’ve not done much squatting, I’m happy. On the bright side, I’ve been doing other things that of course translate into helping my squat, so it’s not like it was a total waste, but this year had long stretches of me sitting on my ass not working out. So, oh well.
