Some days are better than others

I’m in pain.
Mostly because I’m an idiot.
Because… I squatted tuesday. For the first time in a while. And I didn’t go light. Which would have been fine… if I hadn’t done 15 reps… twice.

OOOOOOOWWWWIIIEEEE!!

Yes, I am pouting. My quads hate me now. They refuse to take me anywhere, my legs will literally collapse if I put weight on them the wrong way (as in with knees not locked, so that the actual muscles have to do some work).
Damn this sucks.

I would have known better, but I thought I was gonna be ok. Besides, it was only 50 pounds. I mean, apparently it didn’t matter, because if I had just used the bar I’d likely be in the same shape. I can’t see 5 pounds making that much a difference.

Sigh.

Deadlifts and step-ups will have to wait until I can actually step up.

    that’s how I felt yesterday after my two spin sessions :(

    For some reason I have the urge to squat today though :) Doubt i’ll be able to comfortably make it through the spin tomorrow, if I do.
