skinning
I’m skinning my blog. Slowly, and basically doing it live rather than pull it down and do something else. I’m liking it. 
So, sure, it looks funny and the monkey is gone. I’ll miss the monkey, but maybe I can find another to put up in its place. Starting with a monochromatic theme because that’ll what I’ll be having for my “professional” blog over at theaoife.com… but also because Otto wants something rather monochromatic. In the end I’ll submit anything that comes out kinda cool and prolly make most of them available for download, not that anyone would use them.
I’ve also learned that it’s super easy to have a your own pic in your header, which is prolly why it’s the number one kin variant… a different pic and color scheme. 
I’ll work on coming up with something slightly more interesting in the long term. But for now, I’m learning what all the elements are, because they’re not all what I originally thought they were.
