The taste of Art
Frequently, while I’m working on something, some various bit of something manages to make it onto a hand, a finger, and eventually somehow into my mouth. Mostly I don’t notice it’s there. Or I got something on my lip when moving my hair and then licking my lips…
So today I’ve done it again, with both clay and plaster… plaster is worse. Much worse. And very bitter. Of all Art Tastes, graphite is the best, with wax coming in second. Bottom of the list? Turpentine. And oil paint. Acrylic not so bad. Plaster and clay are somewhere in the middle, clay closer to the top, plaster somewhere toward the bottom.
Kinda makes me long for the days of fruit scented markers… those kicked ass.

My hair should be blue…
Which really would look odd, with the crayon red it is atm. Too “Rah Rah America” for me.
