It’s your friggin job, dammit!

How is it that sooo many people seem soooo damn incompetent? Why can’t people just do their jobs? I mean, it’s what you’re hired for, it’s your job description, it’s not terribly difficult, you said you would do it…

WTF?!?

You can’t return a message? Make a damned phone call? You’re the customer service chick, that’s your job… right?

You said you would.

Don’t get me wrong. I understand… things happen. Stuff comes up, you can’t get it done when you thought you could… but still. That doesn’t mean I don’t ever need to hear from you again. I mean, you can’t call me today? Annoying, but I understand. So how about tomorrow? Or the next day? Or the next?

Don’t you have a friggin list? Something?

Don’t you want me to stop calling you, leaving you voice mails that started out nice and understanding and then got more and more fucking irritated?

So… gee. Guess what has me annoyed at the moment. Go ahead… I’ll bet you can’t.

For crying out loud. I’ve been trying to get ahold of this one chick for some time now, to no avail. I’ve been leaving messages. Obviously they want to hear from me, they are sending me bills that they shouldn’t be.

Then there’s the lovely insurance company that has been nothing but a pita since changing to it, and their penchant for putting my PCP as a Specialist and me having to call EVERY time to tell them he’s my PCP (hey, it’s on the freekin card. wtf?)

Or the other chick that I’ve been trying to get ahold of for about a month-ish.

I mean… come on people! Do your damned jobs!

It’s probably just me. Expecting competence where there is none to be found. I should know better. Most people are morons, and the fact that they can manage to breathe is a miracle in itself. Too bad too… because if they’d just screw that up, there’s be less aggrivation for me, and more air for the rest of us.
