That’s a word? Really?
Words TextTwist taught me were words:
-spume: foam or froth on a liquid, as on the sea.
(sounds kinda naaaasty.)
-scrod: flesh of young Atlantic cod weighing up to 2 pounds; also young haddock and pollock; often broiled
-dray: a low heavy horse cart without sides; used for haulage
-sedge: grasslike or rushlike plant growing in wet places having solid stems, narrow grasslike leaves and spikelets of inconspicuous flowers
-capon: flesh of a castrated male chicken
(ok, I kinda knew this one, but didn’t remember till I looked.)
-apse: a domed or vaulted recess or projection on a building especially the east end of a church; usually contains the altar
