That’s a word? Really?

Words TextTwist taught me were words:

-spume: foam or froth on a liquid, as on the sea.
(sounds kinda naaaasty.) ;-)

-scrod: flesh of young Atlantic cod weighing up to 2 pounds; also young haddock and pollock; often broiled

-dray: a low heavy horse cart without sides; used for haulage

-sedge: grasslike or rushlike plant growing in wet places having solid stems, narrow grasslike leaves and spikelets of inconspicuous flowers

-capon: flesh of a castrated male chicken
(ok, I kinda knew this one, but didn’t remember till I looked.)

-apse: a domed or vaulted recess or projection on a building especially the east end of a church; usually contains the altar
